There have been many times in my life where I just found myself wondering. Just wondering about life. Wondering why certain things happened the way they did and why others didn’t happen the way I wanted them to. I mean, I feel like I played all my cards right, it just didn’t turn out quite right. When I was growing up, I made sure to place myself closest to the room where the big folks were. I did this because I wanted to be a little nosy and because I figured they’re older, they could probably teach me a little something. I wasn’t wrong because as I listened to them speak, I learned that not everything in life has a reason meant to be understood. I learned that sometimes things just happened and we should just accept it for what it was. However, I am the kind of person who relies on reason in order for me to understand or even accept what happens when it does. Like now, I’m wondering why I just didn’t write what I wrote down in the notebook I had. For some reason, I decided to write what’s inside my head. I hope this works out. But, anyway, life’s funny that way because even with a plan, life still may not turn out the way you want it to. Those curve balls get thrown and it sometimes seems like you can’t hit any one of them. But, who said you were supposed to hit them? And, who said your plan was the right one for your life? Maybe, just maybe we are thrown curve balls or dealt a certain hand because we need to see our life in a different way. And, the only way to get us to see our lives the way we were always meant to was by throwing those curve balls in order to spin us around a bit and make us face in the right direction.
